Manufacturing Technician (R&D)

Our client, a leading organization in the medical device industry, is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join their team. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be part of the production support team, contributing to the development and testing of innovative medical devices. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Manufacturing Technician (R&D)

Location: Plymouth, MN

Pay Range: $30/hr. - $33/hr.

Duration: 12+ Month contract with possibility of extension or conversion

What's the Job?

• Perform mechanical, electrical, conditioning, length, OD, and visual tests on medical devices
• Follow detailed written and verbal instructions to ensure precise testing procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation using good documentation practices
• Communicate clearly with engineers regarding test results and observations
• Adhere to safety protocols and use appropriate safety equipment at all times

What's Needed?

• 1-4 years of relevant experience or post-high school education
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work independently
• Familiarity with medical device testing or product assembly preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good documentation skills
