Application Programmer III

Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking an Application Programmer III to join their team. As an Application Programmer III, you will be part of the Software Development Department supporting the Mobile and Web Development Teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Application Programmer III

Location:San Francisco, CA

Pay Range: $65-$70/hr 

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications to support organizational goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define application architecture and features.
• Participate in full software development lifecycle including testing and deployment.
• Review code for quality, performance, and security issues, resolving bottlenecks as needed.
• Publish applications on relevant platforms and maintain existing codebases.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in designing and building Java applications.
• Proficiency in Core Java, Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, and Web Services.
• Experience with SQL, Maven, Eclipse, JSON/XML, and version control tools like Git or Bitbucket.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts and web application development.
