Senior Scrum Master

As a Senior Scrum Master, you’ll help multidisciplinary engineering teams deliver meaningful sprint outcomes, remove impediments, and strengthen collaboration between Product Owners and engineering stakeholders—so the work moves forward with clarity and momentum.

Location:Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas (On-site)

What's the Job?

• Facilitate daily stand-ups and Scrum ceremonies to keep engineering teams aligned and progressing.
• Manage two-week sprints, supporting sprint planning, backlog grooming/refinement, and sprint execution.
• Partner with Product Owners to break down features into user stories and sprint deliverables (without independently writing product requirements).
• Maintain and track work items in Jira, ensuring transparency into sprint capacity, story points, and task decomposition.
• Coordinate across mechanical, electrical, embedded, and software engineering teams to resolve blockers and remove impediments impacting delivery.

What's Needed?

• Approximately 4–8 years of relevant experience supporting Agile/Scrum delivery in a hardware/device product development or engineering R&D context.
• Hands-on experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams, including mechanical, electrical, embedded, and software engineers (especially where device interfaces and firmware are involved).
• Practical Scrum/Agile experience with two-week sprints, backlog refinement, story points, and sprint execution.
• Working knowledge of Jira for managing and tracking work items, plus the ability to understand engineering workflows well enough to identify blockers.
• Experience facilitating communication between Product Owners and engineering stakeholders, with a strong focus on impediment resolution and delivery coordination.
