NOC Engineer

Our client is seeking a dedicated NOC Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a NOC Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Network Operations Center, supporting critical network infrastructure and ensuring seamless service delivery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location:Louisville, KY or Austin, TX (Onsite)

What's the Job?

• Monitor network, service, application, and infrastructure platforms in real time.
• Detect, acknowledge, correlate, and prioritize alarms, alerts, and service-impacting events.
• Perform initial triage and impact assessment for various network and service issues.
• Create, update, and manage incident tickets with accurate documentation.
• Troubleshoot routing, switching, access network, security, and load balancing issues.

What's Needed?

• Experience working in a 24x7 Network Operations Center environment.
• Knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and security practices.
• Ability to follow SOPs, runbooks, and incident workflows aligned with ITIL practices.
• Strong communication skills for disciplined stakeholder updates and shift handoffs.
• Mandatory background check and immediate availability to start.
