Payments Architect

Our client, a leader in the financial services industry, is seeking a Payments Architect to join their team. As a Payments Architect, you will be part of the Payments Modernization Department supporting innovative payment solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, collaborative mindset, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Lead the design and development of modern payment platforms supporting high-value and wire payments.
• Provide architectural guidance for integrating digital wallet solutions and digital asset ecosystems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to connect traditional banking infrastructure with next-generation digital payment technologies.
• Support payment modernization initiatives by developing scalable and secure architecture frameworks.
• Stay current with emerging trends in blockchain, tokenized deposits, and stablecoins to inform strategic decisions.

What's Needed?

• Extensive experience as a Payments Architect within banking, financial services, fintech, or payment processing sectors.
• Deep understanding of high-value payments and wire payment systems.
• Proven experience designing and integrating digital wallet solutions.
• Knowledge of digital asset initiatives involving tokenized deposits and stablecoins.
• Technical expertise in wire payments, API architecture, tokenized deposits, and blockchain platforms such as Hyperledger Besu and Firefly.
