IT Business Analyst

Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking an IT Business Analyst – Encryption & Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) to join their team. As an IT Business Analyst, you will be part of the Enterprise Information Protection (EIP) organization, supporting Security Engineering, Security Architecture, Infrastructure, Application Development, Risk, and Technology teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent stakeholder communication, and strong documentation/project coordination abilities.

What’s the Job?

• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for encryption and PQC initiatives.
• Lead/support enterprise cryptographic inventory and discovery across applications, databases, cloud, certificates, PKI, HSMs, and key management systems.
• Document current/future-state processes, workflows, data flows, cryptographic dependencies, and control requirements.
• Coordinate workshops and collaborate with cybersecurity, engineering, infrastructure, application, risk, and technology stakeholders.
• Maintain project documentation, RAID logs, requirements traceability, dashboards, and executive-level reporting.

What’s Needed?

• 7+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting enterprise technology or cybersecurity initiatives, preferably within financial services.
• Experience with encryption, cryptography, PKI, certificate management, HSMs, KMS, or enterprise key management.
• Familiarity with Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC), crypto-agility, and NIST/CRI cybersecurity standards.
• Understanding of technologies such as TLS/SSL, RSA, ECC, AES, database encryption, tokenization, and cloud encryption.
• Strong requirements gathering, process mapping, documentation, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills.
