Data Analyst

Our client, a leading organization in the industry, is seeking a Data Analyst to join their team. As a Data Analyst, you will be part of the Cyber Data Operations team supporting GRC programs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Data Analyst

Location: Jersey City, NJ (On-site; willing to travel to NYC for stakeholder meetings)

Pay Range:50-55/hr. W2

What's the Job?

• Gather and organize data from internal systems, spreadsheets, and reports.
• Analyze trends, patterns, and business performance using Excel or BI tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and data development teams to understand data sources.
• Scrub and prepare data from upstream source systems for analysis.
• Support projects related to GRC programs with technical requirements and data insights.

What's Needed?

• Experience analyzing data sources and creating technical requirements.
• Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with SQL, Python, or relational databases is a plus.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret data in a business context.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
