Data Analyst

Our client, a leading organization in the industry, is seeking a Data Analyst to join their team. As a Data Analyst, you will be part of the Cyber Data Operations team supporting GRC programs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Data Analyst

Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid)

Pay Range: $50-$53/hr. on W2

What's the Job?

• Gather and organize data from internal systems, spreadsheets, and reports.
• Analyze trends, patterns, and business performance using Excel or BI tools.
• Work with stakeholders and data development teams to understand data sources loaded into the CyberDW for GRC programs.
• Create technical requirements and scrub data from upstream source systems.
• Support automation of controls testing and understand the GRC data space.

What's Needed?

• Experience analyzing data sources and creating technical requirements.
• Proficiency in Excel, BI tools, and familiarity with SQL and relational databases is a plus.
• Proficiency in Python is advantageous.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret data within a business context.
