SAP Event Management (SAP EM) Lead Consultant

Our client, a leading organization in the professional services industry, is seeking a SAP Event Management (SAP EM) Lead Consultant to join their dynamic team. As a SAP EM Lead Consultant, you will be an integral part of the Professional Services Automation department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will enable you to thrive in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Job Title: SAP Event Management (SAP EM) Lead Consultant

Location:Montvale, NJ - Hybrid

What's the Job?

• Lead the Bill & Close processes within SAP S/4HANA for professional services engagements
• Oversee billing schedules, invoicing, and financial close activities to ensure timely and accurate revenue realization
• Support forecasting and revenue recognition processes for project-based engagements
• Partner with finance and engagement stakeholders to resolve issues and optimize end-to-end EM processes
• Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold a respectful and courteous work environment

What's Needed?

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Professional Services Automation (PSA)
• Solid understanding of forecasting, billing, and revenue recognition in a services-based environment
• Proven ability to lead Bill & Close activities and collaborate across finance and delivery teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Understanding of software development methodologies and principles
