Senior AWS Glue Data Engineer

Our client is seeking a Data Engineer to join their team. As a Data Engineer, you will be part of the Data Engineering Department supporting Data Analytics and Data Management teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Fort Mill, South Carolina

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Snowflake, AWS Glue, Lambda, Airflow, and Python
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and implement solutions
• Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues promptly
• Ensure data quality and integrity during transformation processes

What's Needed?

• Proven experience in data engineering roles with expertise in Snowflake, AWS Glue, Lambda, Airflow, and Fivetran HVR
• Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency with SQL and database management
• Deep understanding of Snowflake data warehousing platform and Snowpark
• Experience with DBT Data Build Tool for data modeling and transformation pipelines
• Knowledge of AWS services, especially AWS Glue, Lambda, and Airflow for orchestrating data workflows
