Break Fix Hardware Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the technology support industry, is seeking a dedicated HP PC/Printer break/fix field Technician to join their team. As a Break Fix Hardware Technician, you will be part of the Service Support Department supporting a dynamic team of technical professionals. 

Job Title: HP PC/Printer break/fix field Technician 

Location:Montana, MT

Pay Range:  $28 - $30 per hour

What's the Job?

• Provide hardware support and repair services for PC products including laptops, desktops, RPOS, and workstations.
• Configure hardware, software, and network components to resolve technical issues on-site.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware problems with printers and related peripherals, utilizing mechanical and technical skills.
• Manage critical service events efficiently while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with escalation teams and technical personnel to develop effective action plans for remediation.

What's Needed?

• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with tools and alignment apparatus.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues logically and systematically, including third-party software and network components.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially when interacting directly with customers on-site.
• Ability to prioritize multiple activities and adapt quickly to changing situations.
• Understanding of the financial and business impact of technical services delivered.
