QA Automation Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the retail industry, is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join their team. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting multiple application platforms including Web, Mobile, Cloud, and Desktop. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, collaborative spirit, and technical expertise, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: QA Automation Engineer (retail or merchandising testing)

Location: Grand Rapids, MI 

Any Visa is Fine including OPT/CPT with minimum 5 Years of Experience

What's the Job?

• Perform Agile functional testing and test automation during sprints across various platforms.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts using tools like Robot Framework, Selenium, UFT, Java, API, and Python.
• Create and manage detailed bug reports, and communicate findings effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Build different test scenarios and acceptance tests to ensure software quality.
• Collaborate closely with deployment teams to resolve system issues and support CI/CD auto build processes.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 5+ years experience in Agile functional testing, test automation, and quality engineering.
• Experience in retail or merchandising testing is essential.
• Proficiency with automation tools such as Robot Framework, Selenium, UFT, Java, API, and Python.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and working in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills to work effectively with multiple teams.
