Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer

Our client, a leading organization in the insurance technology sector, is seeking a Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer to join their team. As a Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer, you will be part of the IT department supporting the insurance operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and excellent collaboration abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer

Location: Cleveland, Ohio

Pay Range: 65-70

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and configure UI components, PCF files, business rules, workflows, and data models within Guidewire PolicyCenter.
• Build and maintain integrations through web services and REST/SOAP APIs to connect PolicyCenter with external systems such as billing, claims, and rating engines.
• Implement and support upgrades directly on the Guidewire Cloud Platform, ensuring smooth cloud migration processes.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver sprint stories within an Agile framework.
• Participate in mandatory onboarding activities, including meet and greets at designated locations, with travel covered by the company if necessary.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with Guidewire, focusing on PC, Property Casualty, or Commercial Lines insurance domains.
• Strong technical knowledge of Gosu, PCF, Page Configuration, Rules Engine, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Experience in system configuration, development, and enhancement of UI components and business rules.
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel to onsite locations as required, with travel expenses covered by the company.
