OT Systems Integration Engineer

Our client, a Kansas City manufacturer, is seeking an OT Systems Integration Engineer to join their team. As an OT Systems Integration Engineer, you will be part of the IT organization supporting an enterprise ERP modernization program. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, clear written communication, and the patience to work through complex legacy systems, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: OT Systems Integration Engineer
Location: Kansas City, MO (on-site)
Pay Range: $118 to $130 per hour

What's the Job?

• Review, interpret, and take ownership of existing Allen-Bradley ladder logic on a legacy automated material handling system
• Modify PLC logic as needed to support communication with a new ERP platform, and test those changes
• Analyze controller tag databases and communication routines
• Support network packet capture to document how the system communicates today
• Produce clear documentation of message structures, sequences, and error handling

What's Needed?

• 15+ years in industrial controls, with significant experience on automated material handling or AS/RS equipment
• Expert in Allen-Bradley ladder logic, including legacy platforms (PLC-5, SLC 500, RSLogix 5000, Studio 5000)
• Proven experience taking over, modifying, and documenting PLC programs written by others
• Dematic familiarity required; HK Systems or Rapistan experience a strong plus
• U.S. citizen, able to pass a federal background check
