GNC Engineer

Our client is seeking a GNC Engineer to join their team. As a GNC Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting control systems development and localization solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: GNC Engineer

Location: Logan, Utah (Onsite)

What's the Job?

• Design and develop advanced controls and localization algorithms for ground vehicles
• Model mechanical and electrical systems to simulate and verify control solutions
• Assist in testing and debugging control implementations to ensure optimal performance
• Document designs, analysis, and results in detailed reports
• Collaborate with engineering teams to synthesize innovative control solutions and publish research findings

What's Needed?

• Master's or PhD degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with emphasis on Controls and Localization
• 4-7 years of relevant industry experience in control systems development
• Proficiency in StateSpace Control, Localization, and State-of-the-Art Controllers
• Experience designing control and localization algorithms
• Strong skills in Python, C/C++, and ROS
