GNC Controls Engineer

Our client is seeking a GNC Controls Engineer to join their dedicated engineering team. As a GNC Controls Engineer, you will be an integral part of the development and implementation of advanced control systems supporting cutting-edge ground vehicle projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: GNC Controls Engineer

Location: Dallas, Texas (Onsite)

What's the Job?

• Solve challenging controls and localization problems using state-of-the-art techniques.
• Develop simulations to validate and optimize controls designs.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers to implement and validate controls solutions on unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs).
• Design, develop, and supervise all aspects of electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery.
• Document designs, analysis, and test results in detailed reports and publications.

What's Needed?

• Master's or PhD degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with emphasis in Controls and Localization.
• 4-7 years of relevant industry experience.
• Proficiency in StateSpace Control, Localization, and State-of-the-Art Controllers.
• Experience designing controls and localization algorithms, along with detailed documentation skills.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, and ROS.
