Our client, a leading organization in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, is seeking a Document Controller to join their team. As a Document Controller, you will be part of the Document Management Department supporting the Records and Compliance team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive communication, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Document Controller
Location: Groton, CT (Hybrid)
Pay Range: $32-36/hr.
Duration: 2-year contract (potential to extend)
What's the Job?
- Manage and organize inbound and outbound documents according to company procedures
- Create, adjust, and maintain filing systems for physical and electronic documents
- Record and maintain logs of document retrievals, updates, and distributions
- Develop and implement document control policies and procedures
- Monitor regulatory activity to ensure compliance with records management regulations
What's Needed?
- Associate’s degree preferred
- 2–4 years of relevant work experience working with Veeva, a document management system
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and manage time effectively
