Lab Tech Jr.

Our client, a leader in laboratory testing and regulatory compliance, is seeking a Lab Tech Jr. to join their team. As a Lab Tech Jr., you will be part of the Laboratory Support Department supporting testing and quality control operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Lab Tech Jr.

Location:Gretna, LA

Pay Range:$18- 19/ hr on w2

What's the Job?

• Operate Gas Chromatograph/Mass Spectrometer and LC-MS/MS instruments for confirmatory testing
• Perform quality control duties to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results
• Follow SAMHSA mandatory guidelines and other regulatory standards for testing procedures
• Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring proper calibration
• Document test results and maintain detailed records for compliance purposes

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field
• Strong understanding of laboratory testing procedures and instrumentation
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a structured schedule, including training hours from 7 PM to 3:30 AM, Monday through Friday
• Commitment to following safety and regulatory guidelines
