Production Planning Coordinator

Our client, a leading advanced manufacturing company, is seeking a Production Planning Coordinator to join their team. As a Production Planning Coordinator, you will be part of the Operations team supporting Manufacturing, Engineering, and Customer Success teams. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Production Planning Coordinator
Location: Seattle, WA (Fully Onsite)
Pay Range: $30 - $34/hr.
What's the Job?

• Develop and maintain daily production schedules based on machine capacity, resource availability, and customer priorities.
• Monitor manufacturing capacity and identify potential scheduling conflicts or production constraints.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, and Customer Success teams to ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain accurate production data, generate reports, and track key performance metrics.
• Support process improvement initiatives and help optimize planning tools and workflows.

• 1-2 years of experience in production planning, manufacturing coordination, operations support, or a related field.
• Manufacturing background with an understanding of production workflows from order intake through shipping.
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), ERP systems, or similar planning tools.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with business software applications.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
