LAB Technician III

Our client, a leader in chemical manufacturing and quality assurance, is seeking a LAB Technician III to join their team. As a LAB Technician III, you will be part of the analytical chemistry laboratory supporting quality control and product development. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: LAB Technician III

Location: Cottage Grove, Minnesota

Pay Range: $20 - $25/hr based on experience

What's the Job?

• Perform and report analytical testing for quality control on manufactured products and raw materials
• Calibrate analytical instrumentation and evaluate new test methods for R&D teams
• Prioritize incoming testing and other quality control activities independently
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers, chemists, and technicians to communicate testing status and challenges
• Perform minor troubleshooting on equipment and escalate issues as needed

What's Needed?

• Experience with data reporting and analysis in laboratory settings
• Proficiency with titrations, gas chromatography, and liquid chromatography techniques
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
• Basic understanding of statistical principles relevant to quality control
• Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
