Sr. Test Technician

Our client, a leader in high-performance microscopy and spectroscopy solutions, is seeking a Sr. Test Technician to join their team. As a Sr. Test Technician, you will be part of the Material and Structural Analysis Division supporting manufacturing and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Perform testing of components and systems using prescribed methods and work instructions
• Collect and analyze test data to inform process decisions and ensure product quality
• Troubleshoot electronic and mechanical assemblies at the component and system levels
• Perform machine setup, calibration, and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal operation
• Rebuild manufacturing equipment as needed to maintain production flow and quality standards

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent; a 2-year technical degree or manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience in precision mechanical assembly and complex manufacturing processes
• Proficiency with digital multimeters and troubleshooting test equipment such as oscilloscopes
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement practices is a plus
• Ability to read detailed drawings and perform troubleshooting at the electronic and mechanical levels
