Software Engineer 3 - Contingent

Our client, a leading organization in financial technology, is seeking a Software Engineer 3 - Contingent to join their team. As a Software Engineer 3 - Contingent, you will be part of the Technology Department supporting the Currency Transaction Reporting (CTR) ecosystem. The ideal candidate will demonstrate adaptability, strong problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Software Engineer 

Location: Irving, TX (On-site)

Pay Range: 50-55/hr.

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices and APIs to support critical anti-money laundering and regulatory reporting functions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements and modernize existing applications within the CTR ecosystem.
• Build and optimize data pipelines using Python and Spark to ensure accurate transaction reporting and fraud detection.
• Participate in incident resolution, CI/CD practices, and modernization initiatives to improve platform reliability and operational efficiency.
• Support the stabilization of front-end applications using React, ensuring a seamless user experience.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, and React development.
• Proficiency in Python, Spark, and data pipeline creation.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as GCP, with a focus on building cloud competency.
• Experience with AI tools like Github Copilot is a plus.
• Strong ability to learn quickly, adapt to new technologies, and work effectively in a team environment.
