Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Sr Mainframe Production Support Analyst (NJ, NC, FL) to join their dedicated team. As a Sr Mainframe Production Support Analyst (NJ, NC, FL), you will be an integral part of the Mainframe Operations Department supporting critical business functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to technical challenges, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Sr Mainframe Production Support Analyst (NJ, NC, FL)

Location:Pennington, NJ (On-site)

Pay Range: $65-$67/hr 

What's the Job?

• Provide production support for mainframe systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Monitor system health and troubleshoot issues related to DB2, Cobol, CICS, IMS, and other mainframe components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical problems efficiently.
• Assist in the implementation of system upgrades and maintenance activities.
• Document processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and knowledge sharing.

What's Needed?

• Strong experience with mainframe systems, including DB2, Cobol II, JCL, and utilities like Sort, Fileaid, and REXX.
• Knowledge of BMC DB2 Catalog Manager and Application Performance Analyzer.
• Hands-on experience with debugging tools such as Intertest and TMONG for CICS and Batch programs.
• Familiarity with VSAM, Utilities, and mainframe scheduling tools like OPC or CA7.
• Financial services background or prior experience with Merrill Lynch or Bank of America systems is a plus.
