Senior DevQA Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in broadband networking and embedded platforms, is seeking a Senior DevQA Engineer to join their team. As a Senior DevQA Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting the development and validation of complex networking products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Design and execute comprehensive test strategies for broadband gateway and extender platforms.
• Validate core networking behaviors across wired and wireless interfaces, including routing, NAT, and packet flow.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks for functional, regression, and performance testing using Python and Shell scripting.
• Analyze network traffic and system behavior utilizing tools like tcpdump, Wireshark, and iperf.
• Debug complex issues spanning kernel, middleware, and user space, providing detailed root-cause analysis to development teams.

What's Needed?

• 3+ years of experience in DevQA, System QA, or Validation Engineering for embedded or networking products.
• Strong understanding of RDK-B, OpenWRT, or prplOS-based systems.
• Solid background in embedded Linux, including logs, process analysis, memory usage, and crash debugging.
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP networking concepts, including packet flow, routing, multicast, QoS, and IPv6 technologies.
• Proficiency with Linux networking and diagnostic tools such as tcpdump, Wireshark, iperf, ss, and ethtool.
