Logistics Scheduler

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing and supply chain industry, is seeking a dedicated Logistics Scheduler to join their team. As a Logistics Scheduler, you will be an integral part of the supply chain management team supporting demand planning, order management, and inventory control. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will enable you to thrive within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Job Title: Logistics Scheduler

Location: Forest City, Iowa (100% onsite)

Pay Range: $18 to $20 p/h on w-2
Duration: 12  month contract

What's the Job?

• Manage intercompany orders, including order entry, inquiries, change requests, and exceptions.
• Investigate order status, resolve shipment discrepancies, and address back-order situations.
• Oversee reporting processes for demand planning, order management, inventory, and financial reporting.
• Follow established procedures within supply planning, warehousing, transportation, and inventory control disciplines.
• Utilize tracking systems to monitor progress and report results, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

What's Needed?

• Basic knowledge of supply chain theories and practices such as warehousing, transportation, and inventory control.
• Experience with computer programs and corporate systems like SAP-ERP, JDA, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data, examine variables, and assess alternative solutions.
• HS Diploma or GED
