Overview:
The GT Model Governance Portfolio Manager team leads the review, oversight and monitoring of the AI, model, and critical use spreadsheet portfolio for Global Technology. This role is to support oversight, documentation, and communications around GTMG deliverables coming out of an exam. The appropriate candidate will be able to connect with the leaders in the GTMG team in order to understand takeaways and begin to manage and track progress against the work.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
• Review and maintenance of model documentation, tracking, reporting and on-going compliance with the Enterprise AI, Model Risk Management and Critical Use Spreadsheet Policies.
• Drives the model risk strategy for GT through monitoring and oversight of the model and critical use spreadsheet inventory and ensures overall governance adherence to the Enterprise Model Risk Management and AI Policies and standards including model identification, model health and the quarterly attestation.
• They support driving the solutions horizontally across the GT divisions to optimize performance, prioritize and monitor overall risks and core processes while focusing on operational excellence.
• They review the Model Risk Management requirements and incorporates into internal Global Technology Model Governance procedure development, compliance, control implementation, management and oversight. They also participate in governance forums to monitor model inventory health and MRM developer activities.
• Drives solutions for self-identification of risks and control gaps and monitoring of implementation.
• Capturing expectations of deliverables coming from the exam and build a project plan with timelines
• Leads and coordinates routines to support delivery (for example, kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates, etc.)
• Understand, document and track progress for the additional layers of governance needed to meet standards and new requirements
• Understand, document and track progress for the additional controls needed to be put in place
• Assess ongoing monitoring plans, identify gaps
• Review and provide rationalization to support the standards
• Be able to take technical summaries and translate to executive ready updates
• Facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline
• Manages coordination of delivery and dependencies across multiple teams
• Provides status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks, issues, and schedule
Required Qualifications:
• Demonstrated subject matter knowledge in technology and/or technology governance
• Minimum 5 years Program Management experience
• Executive level communication background
• Tech writer (draft procedures, process, documentation)
• Experience working in a highly regulated industry or financial institution
• Has previously interacted with senior level managers
• Risk management or issues management experience
• Degree or certification in compliance, risk management, business, or communications
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Well-organized and able to manage competing priorities and deadlines
• Detail-oriented, self-starter and ability to think and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to identify, resolve or escalate issues in order to ensure that program timelines are met
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to effectively collaborate with others in different locations
