Our client, a leader in data-driven solutions across various industries, is seeking a Data Platform Administrator to join their team. As a Data Platform Administrator, you will be part of the Data Management Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a team-oriented mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Data Platform Administrator

W2 Contract to Hire: 6 month contract to FTE 

Location: 4 days on-site at South Park; 1 day remote (4100 Coca-Cola Plaza)

What's the Job?

  • Manage and maintain all data platforms including Snowflake, Sigma, Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI, Alation, and Palantir Foundry.
  • Handle user access requests, license management, and role creation to ensure secure and efficient platform usage.
  • Apply patches, communicate downtimes, and ensure smooth feature rollouts for all platforms.
  • Coordinate with developers for platform-specific needs and support occasional off-hours maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, user guides, and standard operating procedures for platform administration.

What's Needed?

  • Experience administering at least one data platform such as Sigma, Snowflake, or Tableau.
  • Understanding of key admin concepts: patches, security, integrations, and user provisioning.
  • Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages; experience with automation is a plus.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data connectivity.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
