Senior Electrical Engineer

Are you ready to take on a high-impact engineering role where your electrical design expertise directly supports the development of small robots and other ground-based vehicles? Our client is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and test electrical components, equipment, and systems based on customer requirements. This is a highly independent position where you’ll apply advanced engineering principles, conduct research to improve designs and products, and collaborate with a Tech Lead and manager to deliver reliable solutions.

Location:Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW), Texas (Onsite)

What's the Job?

• Design electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic applications.
• Design, test, and determine fabrication of test control apparatus and equipment, including methods, procedures, and testing conditions.
• Develop applications of controls, instruments, and electrical systems for new commercial, domestic, and industrial uses.
• Ensure manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications and customer requirements.
• Coordinate operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems in field installations.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years of related experience and/or training (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Proficiency with EDA tools and analog/digital circuit design.
• Experience leading DFMEA processes and performing functional safety analysis.
• Strong communication skills, good teamwork, and the ability to demonstrate leadership when needed.
