AI Engineer & Copilot Specialist

Position: AI Engineer & CoPilot Specialist
Location: Washington, DC (metro accessible)
Hybrid: 3-days/week Onsite
$70-75/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Build AI Agents: Design and deploy specialized Copilots using Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Develop Agentic Workflows: Configure custom topics, autonomous orchestration flows, and response guardrails.
• Implement RAG Architectures: Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation solutions grounded in SharePoint.
• Orchestrate Power Automate: Write complex cloud flows to act as tool repositories.
• Manage Fallback Strategies: Implement robust exception handling for enterprise-grade agents.
• Engineer Prompts: Architect reusable prompt frameworks to enforce accurate, deterministic behaviors.
• Integrate Systems: Connect Copilots to Teams, Dynamics 365, and third-party REST APIs.
• Build Connectors: Develop custom connectors to link enterprise ecosystems.
• Enforce Governance: Align all builds with enterprise data protection policies.
• Configure Security: Ensure correct Entra ID access controls and data boundaries.
• Train Users: Facilitate practical workshops to drive company-wide AI adoption.

• Microsoft Ecosystem: Advanced proficiency in Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
• Generative AI: Proven experience with Azure OpenAI Service and prompt optimization.
• Data Architecture: Deep understanding of semantic search architectures and RAG frameworks.
• Integrations: Expert knowledge of REST APIs and JSON data structures.
