Our client, a leader in laboratory services and healthcare support, is seeking a Service Support Representative to join their team. As a Service Support Representative, you will be part of the Laboratory Operations Support team supporting laboratory service coordination and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Service Support Representative
Location: Cambridge, MA (Onsite)
Pay Range: $29-34/hr.
Duration: Contract until end of June 2027 with potential for extension/hire
Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm
What's the Job?
- Serve as the primary point of contact for laboratory service coordination, issue resolution, and escalations.
- Manage and process service work orders to ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality execution.
- Coordinate vendor services and schedule laboratory activities, including preventive maintenance, repairs, installations, decommissions, and other service-related activities.
- Support laboratory relocation projects by coordinating across Facilities, laboratory teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure activities are completed on schedule.
- Partner with the Project Manager to coordinate and manage lab move requests and associated service activities.
What's Needed?
- Must possess a High School Diploma.
- 2-3 years of experience in a customer-facing position.
- Vendor management experience, including ordering equipment, tools, and items.
- Proficient PC skills and ability to effectively use Windows-based software.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
