Job Title: IT Business Analyst

Location: Newark, DE (Hybrid - 3 days onsite; no relocation candidates) 

Pay Range: $50-53/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with business, technology, and Scrum teams to define and document requirements.
• Analyze architecture diagrams and technical designs to understand application functionality, dependencies, and team ownership.
• Review Figma prototypes and translate designs into detailed business and functional requirements.
• Break down requirements into clear Jira user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Develop acceptance criteria using Gherkin-style scenarios or structured rules/steps.
• Support backlog management, portfolio grooming, and L0/L1 support activities.
• Identify and communicate risks, dependencies, and potential impacts to the Scrum team.
• Work closely with developers and technical teams to clarify requirements throughout delivery.
• Support documentation, analysis, testing, and overall delivery of application enhancements.
• Help track risks and dependencies using Jira Align as the team continues to expand its use.

• Strong Business Analysis experience within large-scale enterprise technology environments.
• Hands-on experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria in Jira.
• Ability to understand and interpret technical architecture diagrams.
• Ability to connect technical architecture with business requirements and application functionality.
• Experience translating UI/UX designs or prototypes (Figma preferred) into requirements and user stories.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, self-directed "go-getter" who can work independently and drive work forward.

• Jira Align experience, particularly for risk and dependency tracking.
• Experience with Figma.
• Financial services, banking, consumer banking, or wealth management experience.
• Experience supporting mobile applications or digital customer-facing products.
• Experience with Gherkin/BDD-style acceptance criteria.
• Experience working in an environment without dedicated Scrum Masters or Product Owners, where the BA takes on some of those responsibilities.
