Project Engineer

Our client is seeking a Project Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Project Engineer, you will be part of the North America Battery Technology Centre supporting battery testing and product development initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Project Engineer

Location: Windsor, ON - Onsite

What's the Job?

• Coordinate, schedule, and track battery testing activities across the facility to support product development goals.
• Manage battery pack and cell test requests, ensuring timely and high-quality execution.
• Develop and maintain test schedules and capacity forecasts aligned with project milestones.
• Monitor testing throughput, equipment utilization, and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement lessons learned for continuous improvement.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, engineering, or related fields.
• Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience managing schedules, priorities, and technical workflows in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of battery testing, product development, validation, or laboratory operations is an asset.
