Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking an Performance Test Lead to join their team. As an Performance Test Lead, you will be part of the Performance Testing and Application Development department supporting various technical teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:Performance Test Engineer/Lead

Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid -3 days onsite per week)

Position type: 12+ months with high possibility of extension/Conversion

Pay Range: $65 - $73/hr on W2

What's the Job?

  • Design and develop performance test plans for complex applications, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create detailed test cases and performance test scripts using industry-standard tools.
  • Execute various load and performance testing scenarios, including load, failover, and aging tests.
  • Lead data creation activities for load testing and analyze performance bottlenecks to optimize system performance.
  • Work closely with development, architecture, infrastructure, and support teams to troubleshoot issues and improve application performance.

What's Needed?

  • 5-10 years of hands-on experience as a developer, performance architect, or related role.
  • Proficiency in performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, and VUGen 9.5 or greater.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, C, Java, and SQL query development.
  • Experience with web protocols including HTTP, Citrix, and related technologies.
  • Ability to monitor and analyze application performance using tools like Dynatrace, CA Wily Introscope, and Splunk.
