Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer

Our client, a leader in HVAC and smart control systems, is seeking a dedicated and innovative Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a key contributor in the engineering department, you will support the development of reliable, secure, and high-performance embedded software solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a passion for advancing embedded systems technology, fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Job Title: Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer

Location:Waller, Texas (Onsite)

Note: Locals who can work on W2 are highly Preferrable. Any Visa is fine as long as consultant have the Hands on Experience.

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for HVAC and smart control systems using Embedded C/C++.
• Implement and optimize embedded applications utilizing Zephyr RTOS, ensuring high reliability and performance.
• Develop and troubleshoot Modbus RTU/TCP communication interfaces for seamless device interoperability.
• Perform embedded system testing, debugging, and automation to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards.
• Integrate hardware and software components, including microcontroller architecture, peripherals, and communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, and Ethernet.

What's Needed?

• Proven experience in Embedded C/C++ programming and embedded firmware development.
• Hands-on experience with Zephyr RTOS and embedded system debugging tools.
• Expertise in Modbus RTU/TCP communication protocols and troubleshooting communication issues.
• Strong understanding of hardware/software integration, including microcontroller peripherals and board bring-up.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git and CI/CD pipelines for embedded projects.
