Junior MBD Engineer

Our client, a leader in the automotive and embedded systems industry, is seeking a Junior MBD Engineer to join their team. As a Junior MBD Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting control system development and validation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Junior MBD Engineer

Location:Waller, Texas (Onsite)

What's the Job?

• Develop, verify, and validate model-based control algorithms for embedded systems using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Design control systems, develop models, and support auto-code generation processes.
• Perform verification and validation activities including MIL and SIL testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration and validation.
• Create technical documentation, test reports, and traceability artifacts to ensure quality standards.

What's Needed?

• Strong experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow.
• Good understanding of Control Theory and closed-loop control system design.
• Experience in Auto Code Generation using Embedded Coder and MATLAB Coder.
• Hands-on experience in Model Verification & Validation (MIL/SIL).
• Knowledge of Embedded C and software development lifecycle.
