Our client, a leading organization in the medical device repair industry, is seeking multiple Electrical Repair Technician to join their team. As an Electrical Repair Technician, you will be part of the Technical Service Department supporting device repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Electrical Repair Technician
Location: San Antonio, Texas (100% onsite)
Pay Range: $18 to $20 p/h on w-2
Duration: 12 month contract
What's the Job?
- Perform device repairs, upgrades, retrofits, and preventive maintenance on internal and external medical VAC equipment.
- Execute quality control procedures for all repaired VAC devices prior to releasing them back to customers.
- Provide technical support over the telephone for customers, sales teams, and third-party maintenance providers.
- Support research, development, testing, and inspection of new products and repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, monitor tools and equipment, and adhere to safety regulations.
What's Needed?
- At least 1 year of experience in electrical assembly, troubleshooting, soldering, or related repair environment.
- Associates degree
- Ability to utilize various tools and equipment for repair functions.
- Knowledge of electrical schematic diagrams, BOMs, and test procedures.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
- Willingness to meet physical demands and work scheduled shifts independently.
