Our client, a leading organization in enterprise process management and data solutions, is seeking a dedicated Data Engineer(Oracle) to join their dynamic team. As an Oracle Data Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Data Engineering Department supporting innovative projects that bridge business language with complex data structures. What's the Job?
- Build and maintain the semantic bridge between process management business language and Oracle data structures.
- Convert business terms, definitions, and metadata into structured mappings to support natural-language-to-SQL generation.
- Analyze Oracle database schemas, tables, and relationships to support data mapping and semantic layer development.
- Create and validate mappings from business terms to Oracle database objects, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with AI and data architecture teams to develop, test, and refine semantic layers and mappings for enterprise AI solutions.
What's Needed?
- At least 4+ years of experience in data engineering, metadata engineering, or related fields with hands-on Oracle database metadata experience.
- Proficiency in Oracle SQL and PLSQL for data analysis and querying.
- Intermediate Python skills for metadata parsing, document processing, and automation tasks.
- Experience working with business documentation, data dictionaries, PDFs, and technical metadata.
- Knowledge of data modeling, semantic layer development, and natural-language-to-SQL concepts is highly desirable.
