Python Developer

Our client, a leader in the financial services industry, is seeking a Python Developer to join their team. As a Python Developer, you will be part of the Front Office Applications Support team supporting Global Markets. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Python Developer

Location: Jersey City, NJ

Pay Range: $65-70

What's the Job?

• Develop and maintain high-performance Python applications for front-office trading systems
• Collaborate with quantitative research teams to implement domain-specific data analysis tools
• Design and enhance RESTful APIs and full-stack solutions using ReactJS
• Work on risk and pricing application development within the global market environment
• Support offshore teams and ensure seamless integration of support functions

What's Needed?

• 10+ years of hands-on programming experience in object-oriented languages, especially Python
• 7+ years as a senior developer working on front-office banking applications
• Experience with quantitative research and domain-specific data analysis
• Proficiency in REST, ReactJS, and full-stack development
• Knowledge of relational and object databases; experience with trade surveillance is a plus
