Application Programmer III

Our client, a leader in the financial services industry, is seeking an Application Programmer III to join their team. As an Application Programmer III, you will be part of the Technology Department supporting the Global Markets team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate resilience, analytical thinking, and collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Python Developer

Location: Pennington, NJ

Pay Range: $60-65/hr. on W2

What's the Job?

• Develop and maintain high-performance front office applications within banking services, with a focus on financial products such as Fixed Income.
• Collaborate with quantitative researchers and developers to analyze domain-specific data and implement solutions.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and full-stack solutions using ReactJS and Python.
• Work with object and relational databases to optimize data management and retrieval processes.
• Support risk and pricing application development, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

What's Needed?

• 10+ years of hands-on programming experience in object-oriented languages, with proficiency in Python.
• 7+ years as a senior developer working on front office applications in banking or financial services.
• Experience in quantitative research and data analysis within a financial context.
• Strong knowledge of REST, ReactJS, and full-stack development practices.
• Exposure to object databases and relational database management systems.
