Our client, a leading provider of medical equipment maintenance and repair services, is seeking a Repair Technician to join their team. As a Repair Technician, you will be part of the Repair Services Department supporting internal and external customers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Medical Device Repair Technician
Location: San Antonio, TX (100% on site)
Pay Range: $18 to $21 p/h w-2
Duration: 12 month contract
What's the Job?
- Perform device repairs, upgrades, retrofits, and preventive maintenance on internal and customer-owned medical VAC equipment.
- Execute quality control procedures for all repaired VAC devices prior to returning them to customers.
- Provide technical support over the telephone for customers, sales teams, and third-party maintenance providers.
- Assist in research, development, testing, and inspection of new products and repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are properly calibrated and maintained.
What's Needed?
- Associates degree or higher
- Experience in device repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
- Strong understanding of electrical and electronic components, including circuit boards and wiring.
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and quality control standards.
- Excellent communication skills for providing technical support and training.
- Commitment to safety regulations and maintaining a safe work environment.
