Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking an Azure Data Engineer to join their team. As an Azure Data Engineer, you will be part of the Data Strategy team supporting the development of a strategic data platform for Securities Group. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $70

What's the Job?

  • Design and develop scalable data solutions on Azure Cloud Platform to support strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish reference data systems for securities and pricing data.
  • Implement and maintain data quality frameworks and governance tools to ensure data integrity.
  • Utilize Azure Data Factory, Azure Lake Gen 2, Azure Databricks, and other Azure services to build robust data pipelines.
  • Support the active development of the data platform, ensuring alignment with internal standards and best practices.

What's Needed?

  • 10+ years of experience in software development, particularly with Python, PySpark, and related frameworks.
  • Proven expertise as a Data Engineer with hands-on experience in Azure cloud services.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure Lake Gen 2, Azure Databricks, and Azure Databases.
  • Experience with Data Quality Frameworks and Data Governance tools such as Collibra.
  • Excellent SQL skills with familiarity in RDMS and noSQL databases, along with understanding of DevOps lifecycle and CI/CD processes.
