Database Engineer 4 - Contingent

Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Database Engineer 4 - Contingent to join their team. As a Database Engineer 4 - Contingent, you will be part of the TCOO department supporting strategic data transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, independence, and innovative thinking, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Database Engineer 

Location:Charlotte, NC (CIC)

Pay Range: 65-70/hr. on W2

What's the Job?

• Design and develop comprehensive Power BI dashboards and enterprise reporting solutions to support business decision-making.
• Integrate and connect data sources using APIs (REST/GraphQL), SQL, JSON/XML, ETL/ELT processes, and data connectors.
• Articulate complex data stories and trends for executive presentations, ensuring clarity and impact.
• Identify bottlenecks in data ecosystems and drive overall transformation to improve data accessibility and usability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative data solutions and enhance analytics capabilities.

What's Needed?

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, analytics, or related fields.
• Proven expertise in Power BI, Tableau, SQL, data modeling, and data integration techniques.
• Experience working within Agile, Product, Engineering, or Technology delivery organizations.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into meaningful insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to articulate data issues and trends effectively.
