Laboratory Technician

Our client, a leading semiconductor technology company, is seeking a Lab Technician III to join their team. As a Lab Technician III, you will be part of the Lab Operations Team supporting hardware validation and test engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have strong technical aptitude, hands-on hardware experience, and reliability with a willingness to learn, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Lab Technician III
Location: Austin, TX (100% Onsite)
Pay Range: $32-$33 per hour

What's the Job?

• Build, configure, and maintain hardware test systems in a laboratory environment.
• Flash BIOS, install operating systems, and update software drivers.
• Install and replace CPUs, storage devices, and other system components.
• Support hardware and software setup for testing environments.
• Provide hands-on lab support to engineering teams and assist with system validation activities.

What's Needed?

• Hands-on hardware experience with PCs, servers, or test systems.
• Experience installing operating systems, drivers, and BIOS updates.
• Basic understanding of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
• Hardware troubleshooting and system configuration experience.
• Strong attendance, dependability, technical aptitude, and eagerness to learn.
