Our client, a leader in laboratory and managed services, is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to join their team to work with two other sites in the biopharma/biotechnology sector. As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the Inventory Management team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Inventory Management Specialist
Location: Millbrae, CA 94030 (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $27.40/hr.
Duration: 6-month contract with the potential for hire/extension
Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm
What's the Job?
- Manage inventory activities including receiving, stocking, and disbursement of products
- Utilize systems such as ULS Inventory Manager and Microsoft Office suite to maintain accurate records
- Coordinate material handling tasks like product delivery, chemical handling, and glass washing
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to resolve issues promptly
- Perform stockroom duties including cycle counts, stock rotation, and trash removal
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Ability to operate handheld scanners and basic computer skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills for report reconciliation
- Willingness to work primarily at customer locations with extensive walking and lifting
