Senior Platform Automation Engineer

Our client, a leading technology organization specializing in enterprise solutions, is seeking a Senior Platform Automation Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Platform Automation Engineer, you will be part of the Software Engineering department supporting automation and infrastructure development initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, collaborative spirit, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:Senior Platform Automation Engineer

Location:Chandler, AZ (On-site, 3 days per week)

Pay Range: $70-$73/hr 

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for enterprise-scale systems using Python and Ansible.
• Streamline development operations and processes, standardize environments, and build tools for deployment, monitoring, and automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions into workflows and improve operational efficiency.
• Create and present design and development progress to peers and stakeholders during sprint reviews and planning sessions.
• Maintain and enhance automated deployment, monitoring, and operational tools for vSphere, NSX-T, and vRealize Suite environments.

What's Needed?

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise-level software development, with a focus on automation and infrastructure.
• Strong programming skills in Python, with experience working with vSphere, vRealize Suite, and NSX-T APIs.
• Expertise in Ansible, including architecture design and custom module development.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, and version control practices using Git.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to document processes and present technical information clearly.
