Location: Charlotte, NC 28202 (Hybrid – 2 to 3 days onsite weekly)
Pay Rate: $30.00 – $38.00 / hour W2
Duration: 12-Month Contract + Long-Term Extensions
Employment Terms: STRICTLY W2 ONLY. No C2C, no third parties, and no referrals.

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized IT Analyst with 3 to 4 years of hands-on technical experience to coordinate, execute, and validate Disaster Recovery (DR) testing across a portfolio of cloud-hosted applications and systems.
As our enterprise continues to expand its cloud footprint, this role will serve as a key technical coordinator helping execute application recovery testing in secondary/DR environments. You do not need to be a deep cloud architect, but you must have a solid foundation in Azure Administration concepts and hands-on experience driving IT recovery testing cycles.
You will manage a portfolio of 20 to 30 individual applications—driving each independent DR testing cycle from initial environment scheduling and execution through post-test validation and sign-off.
Key Responsibilities

  • DR Recovery Testing Execution: Help coordinate and execute disaster recovery testing for 20 to 30 enterprise applications in DR/cloud environments, ensuring all recovery steps, execution logs, and validation metrics meet program standards.
  • Azure Environment Coordination: Utilize basic Azure administration knowledge to navigate cloud environments, review application dependencies, and verify resource readiness prior to recovery execution.
  • Stakeholder & Bridge Facilitation: Serve as the central technical coordinator between application owners, infrastructure teams, cloud engineers, and business partners. Lead DR planning sessions, live execution bridge calls, and post-recovery retrospectives.
  • Compliance & Evidence Tracking: Collect and track technical DR testing evidence, failover/failback documentation, action plans, and regulatory readiness artifacts to ensure full organizational compliance.
  • Inventory & Dashboard Management: Maintain accurate tracking dashboards, application recovery metrics, and schedule timelines across multiple concurrent testing cycles.
  • Issue Resolution: Drive cross-functional troubleshooting when recovery bottlenecks, environment issues, or scheduling conflicts arise during live test cycles.
Qualifications & Core Requirements
  • Experience: 3 to 4 years of hands-on IT, Technical Systems, or Application Support experience operating as an IT Analyst, Technical Coordinator, Systems Analyst, or Junior Cloud Administrator.
  • Disaster Recovery (DR) Focus: Demonstrated hands-on experience with IT disaster recovery testing, application failover/recovery validation, or operational continuity testing.
  • Azure Familiarity: Practical working knowledge of Azure Administration concepts (e.g., Azure VM management, basic identity/IAM, cloud storage, and virtual networking).
  • Azure Certifications: Active Azure certifications (such as AZ-900, AZ-104, or AZ-305) are preferred; willingness to obtain core Azure certifications during the engagement is acceptable.
  • Superb Organizational Acumen: Ability to manage 20 to 30 distinct, concurrent application DR testing timelines simultaneously without missing key milestones.
  • Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to coordinate across distributed technical teams, lead live execution bridge calls, and report recovery statuses clearly to leadership.
Why Apply?
  • Long-Term Stability: 12-month initial contract with strong likelihood of long-term extensions.
  • High-Visibility Initiative: Gain direct exposure to enterprise-scale cloud resiliency and disaster recovery operations.
  • Hybrid Flexibility: Balanced hybrid schedule located right in central Charlotte, NC.

Upon completion of waiting period consultants are eligible for:
