Our client, a leader in the telecommunications and network services industry, is seeking a Network Support Engineer to join their team. As a Network Support Engineer, you will be part of the Network Operations Department supporting the technical team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex network devices and protocols such as BGP, EIGRP, MPLS, and OSPF.
- Perform network traffic discovery through packet capture analysis and drive issues to resolution.
- Manage and troubleshoot L3 private IP MPLS carrier networks via BGP peering and sophisticated WAN topologies.
- Configure and troubleshoot network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
- Utilize various networking tools like Splunk, HPNA, Netdisco, Pulse, and others to analyze logs, traffic, and resolve network issues.
What's Needed?
- Experience with network devices and protocols such as BGP, EIGRP, MPLS, OSPF, SNMP, and multicast.
- Knowledge of networking topologies, TCP/IP, and carrier circuits.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues in data centers, including replacing faulty ports, cables, modules, or devices.
- Experience working with network monitoring tools like EMC SMARTS.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
