UX Specialist (Part-Time)

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and user experience sector, is seeking a Part-Time User Research Specialist to join their dynamic team. This is a part-time contract opportunity offering a flexible schedule during standard business hours, making it ideal for professionals seeking meaningful project work with reduced weekly hours. As a User Research Specialist, you will support innovative product development teams by conducting research that helps shape exceptional user experiences.

Job Title: User Research Specialist
Location: Redmond, WA
Pay Range:$42/hour
Schedule: Part time, 20 hours/week. 

What's the Job?

• Design and execute qualitative and quantitative user research studies to gain deep insights into user experiences with in-development products.
• Translate research data into actionable findings that inform and improve product design and functionality.
• Communicate effectively with product team stakeholders both locally and remotely to ensure research objectives are met.
• Manage research timelines, deliverables, and presentations to ensure timely and polished delivery of insights.
• Collaborate with team members to delegate tasks appropriately, ensuring efficient use of resources and expertise.

What's Needed?

• Experience with human observational research, experimental design, and questionnaire research methodologies.
• Participation in major research projects involving testing and data analysis in applied research or product development environments.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate persuasively to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work independently with speed and precision.
• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, HCI/HFE, or related fields; advanced degrees are preferred.
