Our client, a leading organization in the technology industry, is seeking a Senior Hardware Design Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Hardware Design Engineer, you will be part of the Hardware Development Department supporting innovative product solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location:San Jose, CA (Onsite)

Pay Range:  60 W2

What's the Job?

  • Design and develop hardware architecture for next-generation router and network switch products.
  • Work on high-speed interface design and analysis, supporting 800G line cards and complex signal processing.
  • Analyze requirements and select key components such as Processor SoC, DDR memory, GPU, FPGA, and power management devices.
  • Finalize hardware architecture, create high-level designs, and perform schematic capture and design analysis.
  • Perform PCB stack-up modeling, signal integrity analysis, power integrity analysis, and thermal management to ensure optimal product performance.

What's Needed?

  • Experience with board bring-up and validation of electrical testing for circuit signal quality.
  • Proficiency in designing and validating power management devices and conducting stress testing systems.
  • Strong understanding of high-speed signal analysis, jitter, crosstalk, and SERDES interface simulation.
  • Ability to perform thermal analysis and select appropriate materials for heat dissipation.
  • Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams including software, mechanical, and layout teams.
