Senior Network Test Automation Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and networking industry, is seeking a dedicated and innovative Senior Network Test Automation Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Network Test Automation Engineer, you will be an integral part of the [Department Name], supporting [Team Name(s)]. Job Title: Senior Network Test Automation Engineer
Location: San Jose, CA (Onsite)
Duration: 6+ months with highly possible extension / conversion
Pay Range: $43 - $46 / hr. on W2

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and execute tests to evaluate network performance for AI/ML capabilities.
• Take ownership of end-to-end product testing processes, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Leverage Python automation and testing frameworks such as PyTest to optimize testing workflows.
• Engage in technical discussions with clients to gather and clarify requirements.
• Build and maintain testing environments for system and solution validation, including troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 7+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 4+ years, or PhD with 1+ years.
• 3+ years of experience in Python automation scripting.
• 2+ years of experience configuring, testing, or debugging networking systems and solutions.
• Experience with PyTest or similar open-source QA automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of control and data plane technologies, including L2/L3 networking, BGP, ECMP, and VXLAN-based EVPN fabrics.
